Our Roots: Built by Installers, for Installers
Res-Tek was founded on a simple principle: the best products come from those who have actually handled a trowel. Our founder, Steve Lasko, spent years in the trenches, installing floors in high-stakes environments like food processing plants and industrial warehouses. In 2002, he launched Res-Tek to become the first U.S. manufacturer to specialize exclusively in Methyl-Methacrylate (MMA) technology.
By bringing formulation in-house, we ensured that every gallon of resin met our rigorous standards for quality and performance. Today, that legacy continues. We are a single-source manufacturer, meaning we control the chemistry from the lab to the job site.

In 2025, Res-Tek joined the APN Performance Coatings family. This acquisition paired Res-Tek’s rapid-cure leadership with APN’s 100-year history of technical excellence and industrial scale.
